This hunting property sits on the west slope and is known to produce world class mule deer. Just five miles east of Paonia, Colorado the Lazy H Ranch lays in the middle of a natural migration route of Mule Deer and Rocky Mountain Elk.

Mule Deer Hunts:

With the 2010 season starting a week later (November 6 - 14) and consisting of 8 hunt days these tags going to go fast. For hunt year 2010 we have trophy mule deer licenses available on the third season. These licenses are guaranteed (voucher included) and are 1 x 1 guided. You and your hunting party will stay in the 4500 square foot cabin, and have all meals included. This hunt is a dream hunt for all and the quality of deer range between 180" to 200" with the opportunity for a 200"+ trophy. We prefer to sell all licenses as a group hunt.

Elk Hunts:

We have elk tags available. These hunts are 1 x 2 guided hunts with meals included. You and your hunting party will stay in the beautifull high county cabin and have all meals included.

Archery hunts are being offered on the ranch. These hunts are being offered as guided or un-guided with the use of the high mountain cabin. You and your hunting party will have full access to the entire ranch with great access to adjacent public lands. The elk population on the ranch is superb and is growing with every year of management. Opportunities exist for 300" to 330" bulls with the occassional 340" to 350" bull.
